Welcome to Carmarthen Golf Club

Located 3 miles from Carmarthen town centre set in the stunning Carmarthenshire countryside.

Golf has been played here since 1907, designed by J H Taylor who really left his mark.

The course is carved through the Gwili Valley and offers a parkland layout that will challenge you and excite you at the same time. The view can only be described as breath taking. More about the club.

More successes for the Juniors!

Twelve Juniors recently gained their YMG Silver Award, all with merit or distinction - a terrific achievement!

Also at Pontardawe recently, Lowri Thomas won the WWLGA Girls Championship 9 Hole Competition.

Congratulations everybody!

Ray Gravell rearranged Charity Day - 8th September.

Due to the recent washout of the original competition, an alternative date has been set for the 8th September.

Carmarthen offers a friendly and welcoming experience for all its visitors and members, the clubhouse has an upstairs gallery style view of the course and countryside, with the restaurant offering traditional Welsh cuisine.

The club is always striving to improve and the recent addition of a floodlit driving range has made Carmarthen Golf Club the envy of many with its superb practice and coaching facilities, further enhanced by the recent appointment of our new Director of Golf - Darren Griffiths.

Darren received the prestigious award of Welsh PGA Professional of the year 2008.
